Thursday

On Thursday we got up and did a Cross Fit class.  M has been doing Cross Fit for quite some time and I really wanted to try it so we had done an actual Cross Fit class the first Friday I got into town.  Talk about killer!!!  Luckily, it was a team workout so M and I did it together but it was SOOO not fun.  Really, really hard and pretty intense.  I mean, I guess I can appreciate the challenge part but I definitely prefer the workouts I do at home better.  The particular workout we did had power cleans and lots of pull ups and push ups.  Anyway, it's always fun to workout with my bestie but I was killer sore for the next few days.  Like, REALLY sore and of course the way we are, I never rested.  On top of being sore from Friday, we did bucket brigades and hose carts, canoed, swam, danced and hiked.  So we did another class on Thursday morning and then did Zumba in the evening.  I preferred the Thursday morning class much better.  More of a "class" type setting and more of a cross training class than Cross Fit.  Glad I tried Cross Fit though and I'm NOT saying I'll never do it again. :}

Here is the group of us that worked out on Thursday

This is one of the biggest Cross Fit gyms in the nation so I decided to take my picture by it, showing off my guns. :}

Then we decided to go mini golfing with the kids

A found this house and was knocking to see if anyone was home.  :}

And rewarded ourselves with Red Robin for lunch.  My FAVORITE place and of course I had a few freckled lemonades.  (strawberry lemonades)

What a cutie!!!

After Zumba, D took us on a Ranger ride.  It was so much fun!!  He was going so fast and took us all over the place.

And of course D and I had to have our special grasshopper treats.  We always have these when we're together.  They're our favorite!!  Yummy!

Some pretty pictures of Prescott as the sun was setting.  After living in flat land for the past 2 years, you sort of forget how beautiful the mountains are.
