At our old church, J had the most wonderful Sunday School teacher. She's been his teacher for 5+ years and he really loved her, as did the rest of our kids. She also worked at Walmart and the kids would get so excited to go "see if Miss Nikki was working." They'd ask every cashier available is she was there. Nikki and her Mom loved the kids and spent a lot of time with them in Sunday school, VBS etc... Miss Nikki does an annual road trip through Tx with a friend and I told them if they ever wanted to stop by, we'd love to see her. She actually took us up on the offer which we were so excited about.
They came in for the evening and we had dinner and got to catch up a little. Miss Nikki also brought a booklet for J with letters from his friends back at church. She also brought the kids some shirts that say "JLM." Any ideas???? Jesus Loves Me. It was so fun to see her and to meet her friend Krystina. The kids took to her really quickly as well. It's always fun to see friends from AZ and be reminded that even though we don't live there anymore, we're still loved and cared for. Thanks so much for stopping by Nikki and Krystina.
