Whenever we go back to Racine it is always important for us to see our old friends and neighbors. They were such an important part of our lives and still are to this day. It is so fun to catch up and see everyone.
J and her family were our old neighbors at our first house. My Mom and her were very close and both stayed home to raise their kids together. We had fun reminiscing about old times and catching up on all the new things going on in our lives.

A made a fast friend. They were such good buds

Here is R and her husband and I with all of our kids. It's weird to think we were once this age, running around the neighborhood together and now we both have 3 children. The kids got along great and had a lot of fun together.

When we visited our church, our old friends invited us over for dinner. We had such a great time and the kids LOVED to explore in their big yard. Dinner was delicious and it was so nice to see them as well. Here is J riding the lawn mower all by himself.

My Mom and Cindy. They worked at church together and she was one of my sunday school teachers when I was little.

The Povkovich's were really good friends of my parents. My Mom and Rosemary were great friends and my Dad and Joe were great buddies. They were hysterical together and to this day whenever they get together, everyone just ends up crying from laughing so hard. We had many, many good times with this family. Here are the kids with their youngest and his girlfriend.

R and J with our family

Our friend J has a train set in his basement and the kids LOVE it. They spent lots of time down their running the trains and checking out his layout.

Our very special friends, the Mulders are extremely close to our family. She is like a second Mom to me and her daughter and I were best friends growing up. Our parents met in Lamaze class and then met again in the hospital when R and I were born 6 hours apart. From that moment on, our families were linked and we remain very close to this day. R is an only child so I was lucky enough to be "adopted" as their second daughter and because R was an only, any time she felt lonely, she came over to our crazy house with tons of people to play with. :} My kids are also close to them as well and I am so thankful we were able to see them as much as we did while we were there. R doesn't live in Racine anymore so we were very fortunate to be there the same time as her and meet her daughter. She was so adorable!
