Lake Michigan

Well we were supposed to be heading back to South Dakota but we still had one thing that we hadn't checked off the list and it was very important to the kids. They wanted to spend a day at the beach at Lake Michigan. So (this is the part I love about being on vacation) we decided to just stay in Racine another day and have a nice relaxing day at the beach. It was SOOO worth it and we all enjoyed it so much.

The kids could hardly wait, they ran right in..... and then ran right out. :}

Now take a look at this picture. I cannot believe my Mom is just splashing poor F with water. The poor girl is running away and her sweet little Grandma is just dousing her. ha,ha Just kidding, Mom got her fair share of the splash from ALL the kids. They had so much fun with her in the water.
Oh they were just cracking up.
All relaxed after our wonderful day at the beach. Well worth the delay on our trip back home.
