J's soccer

J had another successful season at soccer.  He really enjoys the game and does so well.  He scored a few goals this year which is always cool.  The thing we are the most proud of is that he got picked as team captain quite a few times throughout the season.  This goes to show us that not only is he a good player, but also a good role model and leader for his team, and the coaches notice that.  I think that speaks volumes to the kind of boy he is and man he will grow up to be.  He has one last tournament this weekend and then "soccer" will be officially on break until next fall.  I think we are all looking for a little down time from that.

One of the games they got to play under the lights.  It was a different but pretty neat experience.  You can see J here with his Captain band on.

He takes a lot of the corner kicks because of his powerful left foot. 

We love watching J play.  He gets so intense in the game and really tries hard.  It's fun to watch your child when they really have passion for the game.
