J had his last soccer tournamnet with his club team last weekend in McKinney. R flew in for the weekend and surprised the kids, which they just loved!! The team played very well and has improved so much since the fall when they first started together. J got 2 assists and they won their first game. The second game they lost, although it was against a team who is ranked #7 in the state of TX. The third game they needed to win by 3 goals and they only got 2, so they didn't advance onto the semi final round. It was a little bittersweet because they were so close but R had to get back to Phx and the kids and I were headed to check out Austin, TX. J was really sad after the last game. When we told him we were moving, he said the thing he'll miss most is his soccer team. They have become family to him and he'll really miss his team. Here are some actions shots of J.

J has really grown the last 5 months or so and has become such a better runner. It's been really fun to watch him change as a player and as a pre-teen.
