F's school year

F had an excellent year at school this year.  She had an amazing teacher, is just so smart and absolutely loves school.  Right now she says she wants to be a teacher and it wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if that is what she ends up doing.  She plays teacher all of the time at home and loves to be the teachers helper in school.  F got student of the month this year (so did A, I forgot to mention that) and all A's this year.  She also got 100% on every spelling test she took this year.  She's pretty studious about her spelling tests.  She loves to read to people and write.  Here are a few pictures from the last days of school.

Here is her A honor roll award and she also received the Math wizard award.  Her teacher had them walk the " Purple carpet" to receive their awards and of course F had to throw in some attitude! :}

This is her best friend.  They loved to write plays, direct and act in plays together.  

It was so sad the last day as everyone was saying goodbye to her.  Everyone needed a hug and told her how much she'll be missed next year.

This is her very special teacher.  She was absolutely the best thing we could have asked for this year.  F absolutely LOVED her and she really LOVED F.  (We absolutely adored her too)  She was so creative and fun and communicated well with us and was just so loving and caring.  What was so special is that my 2nd grade teacher was also my FAVORITE and most special teacher.  We're hoping to keep in contact so when F becomes a teacher someday we can let her know that she had a great influence in that. This was her very first year of teaching and she will be such a blessing in the future to so many students.  We will miss Bowie and especially her teacher a lot next year.

Field day fun

They were "digging" for dinosaur bones.  (excavating the chocolate chips from the cookies).  The kids just loved the protective eye glasses.

F also got to go on a very special field trip for reading so many books and then answer quizzes correctly.
