Last night J got to march in the Light Parade holding his school's banner. He marched with the 4th- 6th grade band. It was so fun because we got to be right in front of one of the high school bands, so we had great music to listen to the whole parade route. I, of course, volunteered to help the band teacher corral the kids (basically I wanted to put my talents of parade princess to good use) and as it turned out the whole family was able to join in, so we all got to march/walk. It was a lot of fun and we saw a lot of our friends along the parade route. It brought back so many memories of all of the parades I've been in in my life. Josh said he had the best time and I hope he gets to do many more parades in his lifetime.
