J lost his first tooth

J just lost his first tooth!!   It has been loose for about a week or so and at first it was driving him crazy and he was wiggling it to death but then he sort of forgot about it.  We were just in the car and he told me that he could feel the skin on his tooth.  (I thought how strange because he had sort of forgotten about it)  However, as soon as we got home and I looked at it, it was barely hanging on by a thread.  I told him to pull it out and he was a little reluctant but he did very shortly afterward.  He was so excited and keeps saying, "Today is my special day!!"  What a big boy our first born is getting to be.  :}
