Baby Bates turned 1 this last week and had her B-day party last weekend. It was a great party and is always fun to see friends and family from the Bates/Valencia side. We bought her a noisy firetruck as payback for all of the noisy things they have given our kids but they didn't seem to mind too much. :} All of the kids had a great time playing together and were totally wiped by the end of the night. It made for a quiet ride home.

They looked ZONKED! Thank you guys so much for coming. We LOVE seeing all of you. And she loves her fire truck, but it is not even as loud as the one we got you, neeren, neener, neener! =)
