J's team party

Last week J had his end of the year team party at the Sockers game. We're normally there anyway but it was fun for him to be there with his team.

Here they are introducing themselves before the game.
Getting ready to go out on the field with the players
Our friend got to run on the field with P.K. the mascot
J and his team standing with the Sockers players as they get introduced.
R and the other coaches during the National Anthem.
It's a far away shot but here is a picture of A and B with the Sockers Coaches.... Not sure they needed the extra hand but the kids love being on the field.
A and B helping Daddy with his job. As the Operations Manager for the Sockers R's normal job has been a lot of administrative work for the coaches but he also helps out at practice. During the game, he's the communication between the booth and what's happening on the field. He loves working with the team and has throughly enjoyed the higher of level of play that he gets to see.
Official number holder.... just kidding. Here R was subbing a player in and had to hold up the number for the announcer.
The coaches wives club. :} We call ourselves that because our husbands are always either coaching soccer, watching it or talking about it. We had special "wives" shirts made to support our husbands. You can't see it in this picture but the shirts are blinged out!!! (lots of shiny rhinestones) Of course L and A already knew each other but they've welcomed me with open arms and it's been fun to be apart of this club. :} Since soccer is our husbands lives... it's pretty much ours as well so we spend a lot of time together and it's made it a lot more fun to be amongst a great group of girls. We've decided to have a 1st official Girls weekend away in August as a reward to ourselves for always holding down the fort at home, while the husbands are away..... Sockering it!! Love you Ladies!!!
