Last week J had TAKS testing at school. It was a 2 day state test that they've been preparing for all year long. It is SOOO important to the school and the teachers because I think they use it as an indication on how well they are teaching. Unfortunately, they go a little overboard and really stress the kids out in the process. I'm sure J did great but we won't know the results until the end of the school year. I tried to make the 2 days as "pressure free" for him as I could because we have total confidence in his abilities. Of course, for our family, we don't need much of an excuse to celebrate. After school on the final day, we headed to GiGi's cupcakes for a celebration snack. The cupcakes are HUGE and there is so much frosting so we usually get 2 and split it amongst 4 of us. This time we got banana split and Peanut butter cup. Banana split was the winner and soo delicious!!
