R's Dads 70th B-day Bash

I know this is long overdue but I have a slew of new posts coming up and needed to finish the old before I could start with the new. Here are a few pictures from R's trip to AZ for his Dad's 70th B-day party. We all really wanted to go to be there and celebrate together as a family but it wasn't to be and we look forward to spending more time with them this summer, but we did feel it was important for R to and "represent" our family :} He had a nice time but once the car ran into our house here in TX, he was just focused on us and couldn't wait to get home and get everything straightened out.

I heard the party was fun and cousins, relatives and friends came from all over. R was the chosen photographer so there weren't many pictures of him but I thought I would just share what he got.
Party preparations.

R's Dad, Mom and relative checking out the cake. Man, where was I... that's my favorite part??

Aunt D and Uncle A (R's sister and brother in law)

R and his best friend growing up
Uncle and cousins from California
Elvis even came to the party, because that's just how we roll. :} I heard it was great, he sang a few songs at our wedding and it was awesome. So sad to have missed it.

Hunka, hunka burning love. He's a family friend who's being doing Elvis impersonations for a long time. He travels all over performing and has won lots of recognition for what he does.
