Easter Fun

We had a great Easter this year. Being new to town, it's always different to celebrate a new holiday because everything is different so we didn't quite know what to expect. Luckily, our wonderful friends asked us to get together which made it more fun for us and for the kids. I'll post our get together first and then our official "Easter" pictures later.

Of course, we started off the day with church. I played flute at all 3 services so it was an early morning for me. All went well with that and then I was able to enjoy the Easter service with the family at the last service. After church.... and tons of pictures, everyone came over to our house for a late lunch and Easter egg hunt.
Best buds.
Getting ready to head out for the Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny hid over 135 eggs, so there were plenty for all.
The two "older" kids had a delayed start so the little ones could get a head start and actually get some eggs.
And they're off......
That's my girl, it's a race!!!!!
And that's our boy, taking time for a snack break while looking for eggs.
F got the most, her basket was just overflowing!!
Mr. B finding a hidden egg
Checking out the eggs and all the goodies.
A and K. This was K's prized HUGE Easter egg. ha,ha
The Dad's waiting patiently to help eat the candy.
Kids table... Cheers!!!
The Cottles made DELICIOUS fajitas. They were sooo yummy. They brought all the fixings, guacamole, homemade salsa, vegetables etc... and it was sooo good. L. Cottle's parents were even able to join us. Like I always say, The more the merrier. We had such a nice Easter in our new town and new house and everything worked out perfectly. Thanks Cottle's for coming over and spending the day with us!!
