Last Monday when the kids had off of school, our MOPS group planned a tour of the nearby news station. I thought it would be a bit interesting so we went and checked it out. On our way there I was quizzing the kids about what a news station is and what they do. F said (in all seriousness) "It's something they put on TV so when you get older you have something to watch." :} I just about died laughing. Honestly though, I guess we should watch a little bit more news at our house. The kids new what it was and that they put out the weather and latest news. We learned a lot and it was fun to see where it actually gets taped.
