Mr. Gardener

Austin has truly become a little gardener. A and Grandma Kiger planted cucumbers, tomatoes and squash back in Sept. that were supposed to be ready to pick in late Oct. A routinely checked on them, watered them and made sure no bugs were on them :} We just couldn't wait until the vegetables were ready to pick. We have about 15 tomatoes but unfortunately they are still green and as it is getting colder and colder, we're not so sure they'll ever ripen. We decided to pick our 2 cucumbers because the frost got their leaves as well so we figured they probably wouldn't grow anymore. A couldn't wait to try his very own cucumber and he said it was delicious!!!Eating his cucumber. He was so excited!!
