We finally had a weekend with no plans and no soccer. We had packing to do for our trip but for most of us we spent it relaxing and just hanging out. J found a cool spot and decide to write a bit. (excerpt from J's journal writing... with his permission)
My town is beautiful. My neighborhood is very cool. All the colors of fall trees. The fresh winter air. The pretty sunsets and sturdy houses. The alleys are pretty fun and Mexican food here tastes awesome. Sports teams here are awesome to me ..... my school here is right by my house! I love the loud cars, ambulance and fire trucks and police car.....You gaze from house to house to house . HOw the grass is green and bricks are old. There are built in fireplaces and big cabinets.....
