October is a busy month for us because we have lots of visitors, but that's OK because we LOVE having people come visit us. :} Grandma K came from WI to visit us for a long weekend. K is like my 2nd Mom. She is my Mom's best friend and her daughter and I were best friends growing up. My kids love her to pieces and she treats me like a daughter and my kids like her grandkids. We had such a fun time with her but of course it went way too fast. She got to spend a lot of time with the kids, talking and reading books. She even took them shopping for early Christmas presents. K and I got to go to dinner twice, which was nice because we got some uninterrupted talk time. She was even able to catch one of my concerts. It was a great weekend and we can't wait until she can come back again.
