Easter

We had a wonderful Easter this year. It was nice and relaxing and we stayed close to home. Our morning started early (4:30 am to be exact) the kids were up and adam trying to see what they got in their Easter baskets. They looked but then I told them to go back to bed so we could get a few more hours of sleep. We all got up and decided to do the Easter egg hunt before church this year as we had a little bit of time. (normally I play flute on Easter but this year, I got off) Anyway, the kids had a blast hunting eggs and it was GAME ON!! They all rushed around and found all 131 eggs. Yes, the Easter bunny at our house is very generous. Here are some pictures from the hunt:

After that we all got ready for church. It was a wonderful service and such a meaningful day. I absolutely love Easter and the songs that we sing in church are just amazing!!! After church we headed home for a brunch type lunch and we had one of our friends over. It all turned out wonderful and it was a nice relaxing day.
