Our Mr. Bee

So the story goes like this... J came home with a list of spelling words for his schools' spelling bee. It was completely optional and J decided it was not something he wanted to do. So that was the end of that, however a few days later he came home and told us he had changed his mind WHILE he was at school and decided to participate in the spelling bee and he got 2nd place in his class. We were just shocked. How do you not study and get second place?? Anyway, we were very proud of him for doing it and now he moved onto the overall school spelling bee. Now, that he made the commitment we did work with him a bit on the 3 page list of words they gave him, however about 2 days before the spelling bee, he again decided he didn't want to Study anymore. (go figure) Needless to say, he still participated and actually got 8th place amongst all of the 4, 5 and 6th graders. Not bad... not bad at all. He was pretty proud of himself and we were too. Congrats J, on participating in the spelling Bee and doing a great job. We love you so much!!
