Well the kids have been in school for about 3 weeks now so this post is a little late but I wanted to get it out there. They started at their new school and all seems to be going well.
J went to this school for 1st and 2nd grade so he was anxious to go back and see his old friends. He is in 6th grade this year and it will be his last year in elementary school. He rotates for every class and he doesn't seem to be having any problems with that. He's still in band, which he isn't too thrilled with, but loves playing sports with his friends at recess. The best thing about this school is that the kids can walk there. We all love that!!
A is having a great year and is in 2nd grade. He's met lots of really nice friends and loves his teacher. His teacher is actually the same teacher J had for 2nd grade so it's been kind of fun.
F is a big 3rd grader!! She has met some really nice friends too. Unfortunately she started out the year with a sub until they could find a permanent teacher for her class. The new teacher actually starts today and F is looking forward to getting to know her. She just loves school and is so studious in all of her studies.
I can't believe how big they are getting.
