Well I had my left hand carpal tunnel surgery done on August 18th. All went well. The Dr. said this hand was a bit worse then the other one which we sort of new because of the muscle weakness we discovered, but we learned something from my last surgery and he gave me a cortisone shot during surgery this time. This gave us a jump start into recovery and made my recovery much smoother than last time. I am still trying to "take it easy" and shouldn't be on the computer much (thus the delay in blog posts) but wanted you all to see things are healing nicely.
This is 18 days post surgery. The scar is red and sore but is healing very nicely. The red mark on my wrist is where the drainage tube was after surgery.
This is one week post surgery when I finally got my cast off. The blue line is how long my scar is and where the stitches were.
