F had her final meet of the regular season last weekend in Ft. Worth. We had a really nice, long weekend and she did a great job. She was finally able to put together all of the hard work she has done over the last 9 months and competed well on all 3 events. As luck would have it, she hit her foot really hard the night before her meet and she couldn't even walk on it the night and morning of her first events but she decided to be an athlete and compete on it anyway. We iced it a lot and wrapped it and we think it still affected her run a bit but she did compete and did well. First up was floor and she actually did both of her passes and placed 6th in her flight. The most exciting news was she qualified for nationals so now she is able to go and compete on all three events in Kansas City. Regionals is the hardest meet all season and includes the 8 surrounding states and probably the toughest judging. She posted her highest floor score all season and ended up in the middle of the pack out of everyone in the region, her age, her level. We're just so proud of her for competing with an injury and working through the mental block she's been having on the floor.
Next up was double mini. She had two pretty decent passes but had a slight step on both of them. She got 4th in her flight and got 21st out of 57 in the region.
Last up was trampoline. She had a really nice pass and got 3rd in her flight. She got 22 out of 52 in the region. Overall a very successful meet.
Some fun pictures after the meet

I know this is far away but this is her on the trampoline.
